The Wake Accounting Society is a member-based student organization run by student leaders for undergraduate students interested in learning about the accounting profession from practitioners, faculty, and other students. The policies and programs of the Wake Accounting Society are administered under the guidance and direction of a faculty advisor from the accounting program.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Wake Accounting Society is to provide our members with experiences that promote their understanding of the study and practice of the various professional specialty fields within accounting by connecting students, faculty and practitioners. We provide opportunities for our members to develop academically, personally, and professionally. The experiences we provide our members enhance their ability to contribute as effective business leaders who serve their organization and profession with character and ethics. We strive for continuous improvement and to provide our members with a lifelong professional network consisting of current and former accounting students.
